Advisory: Storm update: PCH remains closed north of Encinal to Monday; Encinal Cyn Rd reopened

Dear Pepperdine Libboard,

PCH remains closed between Encinal Cyn Rd in Malibu to Las Posas Rd in Ventura County as Caltrans crews work to clear mud and debris from Saturday's storms. PCH is expected to reopen on Monday, January 7.

Encinal Cyn Rd is now open in both directions. City crews cleared mud and debris from the traffic lanes and continue working to remove all debris from the shoulders.

The crossing at Rainsford Pl and Bonsall Dr remains closed.

City crews will be working through the day in the Malibu Park area to make the roads passable by clearing the debris off to the shoulders to be removed and hauled away at a later time.
