LASD - Malibu/Lost Hills Station, Los Angeles County Sheriff

Robert G. Luna, Sheriff

Advisory: Resident and Essential Contractor Access to PCH (22500 - Coastline Dr)

Dear Pepperdine Libboard,

Access along PCH in the fire affected areas

will be limited to verified residents and essential contractors only.

Residents need to go to Malibu City Hall lower lot (23825 Stuart Ranch Road) between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. starting January 28th to obtain a “Resident Only” pass. Residents need to provide valid ID or proof of residency (i.e. utility bill or lease agreement showing an address in the affected area).

If you are an affected resident and traveling from the LA/Santa Monica area to Malibu along PCH, you will not be let onto PCH without the pass. LAPD will honor the pass in their jurisdiction on PCH. Dolphin stickers will not be accepted due to the fire only affecting the eastern portion of Malibu. You must obtain a pass.

Contractors/Essential personnel need to go to the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff Station (27050 Agoura, Calabasas) between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to obtain an “Essential Contractors” pass.

Contractors/Essential personnel need to provide valid ID and bring documentation (i.e. work invoice or contract from resident) showing that they are serving a resident in the affected areas. We vet the information with the resident.

Essential traffic only - expect significant delays. Potential temporary closures due to repair work in the area.
