Dear Pepperdine Libboard,

THIS AMBER ALERT WAS ACTIVATED BY CHP ENTAC AND IS IN EFFECT FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES: BUTTE, LASSEN, PLUMAS, SIERRA, TEHAMA AND YUBA.

ON MARCH 31, 2017, AT 1500 HOURS, SOLAI POMTONG AND LAILA POMTONG WERE ABDUCTED FROM GREENVILLE, CA.

SOLAI POMTONG IS A 14 YEAR OLD ASIAN FEMALE, 5 FEET 5 INCHES TALL, WEIGHING 130 POUNDS, WITH BLACK HAIR AND BROWN EYES, LAST SEEN WEARING UNKNOWN CLOTHING.

THE SECOND VICTIM, LAILA POMTONG, IS A 9 YEAR OLD, ASIAN FEMALE, 4 FEET 6 INCHES TALL, WEIGHING 60 POUNDS, WITH BLACK HAIR AND BROWN EYES, LAST SEEN WEARING UNKONWN CLOTHING.

THE SUSPECT, ALICIA LAPP, IS A 33 YEAR OLD WHITE FEMALE, STANDING 5 FEET 2 INCHES TALL, WEIGHING 105 POUNDS, WITH BROWN HAIR AND BROWN EYES, LAST SEEN WEARING UNKNOWN CLOTHING

THE SUSPECT WAS LAST SEEN DRIVING A 2016 BLACK TOYOTA PRIUS, WITH A CALIFORNIA LICENSE PLATE NUMBER 7UHH003.

IF SEEN CONTACT THE PLUMAS COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE AT (530) 283-6300.

Update: Northbound lanes of PCH at Busch have been reopened following an earlier traffic accident investigation.

The Sheriff's Department has closed the northbound lanes of PCH at Busch Dr to allow detectives to conduct a traffic collision investigation. Northbound traffic will be re-routed through Morning View Dr.

Sheriff's Deputies and Malibu Search & Rescue are at the scene of a traffic accident on Tuna Cyn, approximately one mile north of PCH. Accident victims are being airlifted - motorists should avoid the area.

Expect ongoing delays due to backed up traffic in both directions.
