She is a 17 year-old female Black who was last seen on February 2, 2025 at 7:30 a.m. on the 1200 block of West 105th Street in the city of Los Angeles.         Monet is 5’05” tall, 160 lbs., with brown eyes and long black hair. She was last seen wearing a gray sweater with black trim and gray leggings.   Monet's possible destination is the City of Lakewood or Jesse Owens Park, 9651 S. Luna, Sheriff Advisory: *UPD* #LASD Homicide Bureau Responded to a Shooting Death Investigation, 1200 blk. W. 87th St., LA Dear Pepperdine Libboard, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a female Black adult. Deputies from South LA Sheriff’s Station responded the 1200 block of W. 87th St., in the unincorporated area of Los Angeles county regarding a report of a gunshot victim. The incident occurred on Monday, February 24, 2025, at approximately 9:29 PM. When deputies arrived on scene, they located a female Black adult suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital, by (correction) Los Angeles City Fire where she was subsequently pronounced deceased.  A second victim, an adult male Black was shot in the foot and is being treated for non-life threatening injuries. The suspect, an adult male, was last seen behind the location, fleeing on foot in an unknown direction. The investigation is ongoing, and currently there is no additional information.
