Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide investigators are responding to assist Compton Sheriff’s Station with a shooting death investigation. The incident was reported Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at approximately 10:40 p.m. on the 1300 block of S. Long Beach Blvd., in the city of Compton.

The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
