Advisory: One lane closed each direction on PCH, Cross Creek to Leo Carillo, Mon-Sat nights, April 30-May 5 - Caltrans paving

Dear Pepperdine Libboard,

Caltrans announced plans to close lanes on portions of PCH in both directions this week to install delineation lines and traffic detectors.

One northbound and one southbound lane on PCH, between Cross Creek Road and Leo Carrillo State Beach, will be closed Monday, April 30, to Friday, May 4, between 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM, and on Saturday, May 5, between 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

At least one lane in each direction will be open at all times. The closures are weather permitting and subject to change.

The work on PCH is part of a $2.2 million project to replace pavement on travel lanes, asphalt on the shoulders, and add new shoulder delineation lines at various sections of PCH from Malibu Lagoon to the Los Angeles/Ventura County line.

California drivers will see more work to preserve and rehabilitate pavement on freeways and highways as a result of SB 1, the State’s new transportation funding. To find transportation projects in Los Angeles and Ventura County that Caltrans and local communities are investing in with SB 1 revenue, visit RebuildingCA.ca.gov/map.html.

Caltrans reminds drivers to be “Work Zone Alert.”
