Advisory: Ventura Fwy (US 101) full closure NB & SB Las Virgenes to Liberty Cyn nightly 12-5AM Nov 14-18

Dear Pepperdine Libboard,

A full freeway closure of the Ventura Fwy (US 101) will be in place for both northbound and southbound lanes, from Las Virgenes Rd on the south to Liberty Canyon Rd to the north, from 12:00 to 5:00 AM nightly, Tuesday through Saturday, November 14-18. The closure is required for the demolition of a bridge as part of the Lost Hills Interchange Improvement Project.

If necessary, the closure will be extended through Monday, November 20, for the same hours of 12:00 to 5:00 AM. If work is completed sooner than originally planned, the number of closure(s) and/or duration(s) may be decreased.

Northbound US 101 traffic will exit at the Las Virgenes Rd off-ramp and use Agoura Rd to the Liberty Cyn on-ramp to get back on the freeway. Southbound traffic will exit at Liberty Cyn Rd and use Agoura Rd to Las Virgenes Rd to get back to the freeway.

No lane closures are permitted from Wednesday morning through Sunday night, November 22-26.

Detour signs will be provided during the closure to guide motorists back to the freeway, and California Highway Patrol (CHP) will ensure compliance with roadway closure signs. Motorists who must travel during the full freeway closure hours should follow the detour signs or use alternate routes.
