| Advisory: PCH closed both directions Kanan to Via Escondido - expected to last several hours Dear Pepperdine Libboard, Update on two, separate traffic collisions that occurred on Wednesday morning, November 29, shortly after 8:00 AM:
1) The collision on Morning View Dr near Malibu High School has been cleared.
2) PCH is closed in both directions from Kanan Dume Rd to Via Escondido Rd due to a multi-vehicle collision. Kanan is open and can be used to detour around the PCH closure. Vehicle fires and a small brush fire related to the collision have all been extinguished. Sheriff's Deputies are on scene and the highway closure is expected to last several hours.
Advisory signs are placed on PCH and at the north end of Kanan Dume Rd to alert motorists of the PCH closure. For full details, view this message on the web. |
