LOCATION:   Los Angeles Street/ Cutler Avenue, Baldwin Park SUSPECT:   Male Adult UNIT:   Homicide- Lieutenant Francisco   NARRATIVE: Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide detectives responded to Los Angeles Street and Cutler Avenue, Baldwin Park, to assist Baldwin Park Police Department personnel investigate the circumstances surrounding an Officer Involved hit shooting. Detectives have learned Baldwin Park police officers attempted to make a pedestrian stop of a Probation/Parole violator.  The suspect immediately fled the scene, at which time a foot pursuit ensued.  The suspect produced a handgun, and an officer-involved hit shooting occurred. The suspect was struck in the arm.  He was transported to a local hospital where he is expected to survive his injuries. The suspect is described as a 23-year old Male White, from the Baldwin Park area. A handgun was recovered at the scene. No officers were injured.
