| Community: Sheriff's Station Electric Vehicle Charging Station Now Open to Public #LASD Dear Nixle User, The Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's Station now has a Stage 2 EVLink electric vehicle charging station in their front parking lot. This "Stage 2" station charges electric vehicles in roughly 2-3 hours as opposed to older models that could take up to eight hours to charge. There are two outlets, meaning that two vehicles can be charged at one time. Easy to follow instructions have been posted on the front panel of the charging stations. The Lost Hills Station is offering, free of charge, these charging stations to all members of the public. By taking part in this project supported by Clean Transportation, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department is doing its part to promote a cleaner, healthier environment.
