Advisory: Evacuation Warnings and Orders In #SierraMadre Communities

Dear Pepperdine Libboard,

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is announcing a Phase 2 storm is forecasted, prompting the following evacuation warnings and orders for high-risk areas in communities due to debris flows over Eaton Fire burn scars & flash flooding in mountains. Anticipate minor to moderate flooding and mudflow/sediment deposition.

These orders are in effect from 7:00 AM on Wednesday, March 12th through 6:00 PM on Thursday, March 13th, 2025.
