Advisory: Traffic signals on Malibu Cyn Rd between PCH & Piuma out or flashing red

Dear Pepperdine Libboard,

The City is receiving reports of traffic signals either out or flashing red along Malibu Cyn Rd between PCH and Piuma Rd. The signals at Civic Center Way are out, the lights are out in the tunnels, and the signal at Piuma is flashing red.

SCE is reporting a power outage in the Civic Center area, which may be the cause of the signal malfunctions.

Motorists should use alternate routes, if possible, or proceed with caution and treat all intersections where signals are malfunctioning as all-way stops. Updates to follow.
