| Advisory: PCH lane closures in Santa Monica Sat & Sun, Feb. 11-12, 4AM-12PM for emergency guardrail repairs Dear Pepperdine Libboard, Caltrans will have lane and ramp closures on PCH (SR-1) in Santa Monica on Saturday and Sunday, February 11-12, for emergency guardrail repair work. One lane will remain open to motorists. Detour signs will be posted. Motorists are advised to plan ahead and use alternate routes when possible during the following closures:
Saturday, February 11, 4:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Northbound PCH Closed
• 4th and 5th Streets onramps
• #2 lane through the McClure Tunnel
Sunday, February 12, 4:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Southbound PCH Closed
• #2 and #3 lanes from Appian Way to the McClure Tunnel
• #2 lane through the McClure Tunnel to the Lincoln offramp
During the recent rainstorms, guardrail along PCH was heavily damaged. Caltrans secured an emergency contract for the guardrail repairs. Caltrans will also perform lane delineation, landscaping, fence repair, and graffiti removal within the closure limits.
